Hello & welcome!
Twine Birds, a small but growing handmade polymer clay jewelry and accessories business focusing on miniature foods and other elegant objects. My main focus is jewelry and accessories, such as earrings, pendants and brooches. Each piece is unique in form and made individually.
In 2008, I started an interest in working with polymer clay to fulfill my need to craft. Ever since I can remember, I have been crafting as I pursued a degree in visual arts and environmental studies. The name ‘Twine Birds’ came from the title of an art installation I did for a recycled material class, which included twine and metal materials. The outcome was airy delicate, and elegant.
The website showcases products from Twine Birds as well as occasional reviews on various topics. Any review of products and food establishments are my own personal opinions and I am not sponsored or affiliated with the companies.
I aim to have a new blog entry weekly, normally Wednesday. I craft my clay items in the comfort of my home in the Greater Toronto Area while currently studying urban planning.
I hope you enjoy your stay here!
Sincerely,
Connie
